We are alive people! I can't believe I let so much time go by before I updated this thing! Bodrie has grown up so much. He runs and yells at Dally and he's always trying to read books! Anyway here are some pictures of little man! So we have pictures of him smiling for the camera, sleeping on Hilly while she babysat so we could go on a date, Bodrie trying to help me sweep but he got mad at the broom and started biting it, his special 1st birthday and his white knuckle grip on his new stick horse, he absolutely loves the sand at the beach, boating with dad, doing his major tricks on the wheeler, he had a blast hanging out with me at Girl's Camp this year, swinging with daddy at baby Paisley's blessing, playing with grandma Lori's puppies. He couldn't find one so he tried looking down her shirt too, he loves his tub time and his bubbles, and of course he has already had some daddy dew and knows exactly where to find it!

I have been bugging Jas about making me a buckle rack forever so my buckles wouldn't just sit on the floor in a bag... well little did I know what he had in store for me for Christmas. He made me this amazing buckle shadow box with rope on it. I just love it and now my memories will all be locked up where I can look at them all the time! So thanks to Chelsie and Lathan Thompson our son loves this little train thing... sorta. He's not sure what to think of it really, but he'll sit and try to grab it and he's starting to laugh at it a bit. He is really going to like it the older he gets. So thanks you guys, it is the handiest gift!

Bodrie Rolled Over!!

We are out to grandma n grandpa Merritt's in Bennington and Bodrie is playing on the floor... Next thing we see is him rolling over! WOW! He's not even 3 months yet! It was super neat. Then he did it again only alot quicker! My little boy is growing so fast it's kinda sad...I'm still not ready for another one though.
Not too much has been happening in our lives. Jason is working for UP still thank goodness. He's now outta Soda so it's close to home WOOT WOOT! I'm working at the school in Paris part time Mon-Thurs and Grams is watching Bodrie for us. She is such a good woman to do that for us everyday, plus some nights I work at the bowling alley! Don't know what we'd do without our wonderful families looking out for us. Love you guys. Anyhow working two jobs really sucks and its depressing, but it is so worth it to have Jason home everynight. I already told him I will not do it forever so we gotta get rid of some toys or he has to go back out on system!! I'm such a mean wife I know.lol Anyway that's about it for us... Hope everything is good for everyone!!!

My child is already dis obeying me! I tell him all the time to keep his fingers out of his mouth and this is how he treats me! It's awful! Pretty cute, but a hard habit to kick. I always try to hurry and stick the bink in his mouth too, but he gets his fingers behind it and flicks it back at me! Then he proceeds to stick his thumb in there! I have a sinking suspicion that we are going to have our hands full from now till he's up and moved out!

Chels tried out for the Bear Lake Royalty thing! She did amazing! I am proud of her. She is a true athlete and she actually cleans up pretty dang good! Stupid me didn't get any pictures so when I steal some from my mom I'll post them! She took 3rd place...(personally I think she should have won... but I'm not biased or anything!) Here is Bodrie in his go to town dress up shirt, just loving this swing(thanks Trev and Amy) He was so good that night for the pageant, I couldn't even believe it! He's basically the best kid ever! (once again... I'm definatley not biased! HAHA)

Wow it has been forever since I have posted anything! Alot has been going on though. After Bodrie came it wasn't but about four weeks later I had to go to the hospital cause I was having such horrible pains in my stomach. They thought it just might be my appendix or my gall bladder. Anyway I had to spend the night cause I hurt so bad! It was my first night without Bodrie! It was awful and I felt like a terrible mother, but Teresa took good care of him. My problem was a cyst on an ovarie burst and blah blah blah... IT FREAKIN HURT LIKE HELL! I got to come home the next day but I stayed in Bennington with the Merritt's cause Jason was gone to work. These pictures are Bodrie and Grandma cuddlin during our stay!! He is one spoiled baby to say the least...

So the other day I had just got done feeding Bodrie and I handed him to Jas to burp him, well it wasn't two minutes later that Jas squeeled like a girl and says,"Ah... HE POOPED ON ME!!" It was so funny so I had to get pictures for evidence! I still think he is the sweetest boy..especially since he pooped on his dad! At least we're prepared for the tricks up his sleeve! (or up his diaper I should say!)

Well here is a little bit of what we have been up to since grandma's funeral. Chelsea had state that next week so I went up Tuesday morning and Wednesday night. Really made me miss rodeoing! June 18th Thursday morning we went to the hospital so I could get started. 9 hours of labor later I still hadn't dialated and Bodrie still hadn't dropped so I told Dr. Campbell to just take him C-section. That was the weirdest feeling to be numb but still feel them digging around inside my belly! I'm glad we did it that way though because the cord was wrapped around his neck twice!! Good thing I'm pushy. Anyway the next week was a blur. Krista had to be life flighted to Poky 3 days later and her son was born! We didn't get much sleep the first few nights, Bodrie is definately a night time baby lol. I was devastated when Jas went back to work. It is so hard to be alone with a new baby, plus my hormones are all screwed up and all I do is cry! Good thing he is on his way home tonight for a week! Woot Woot! Anyway here is a bunch of pictures of our little one. I never knew I could love something this much. He is the best thing in our little world, we don't know what we ever did without him! Oh and we also celebrated my birthday on Sunday! I'm finally the big 2-0!

My dear sweet grandma Emma Lou passed away Saturday night. In ways it is a blessing because she isn't suffering anymore, but to me it is very tragic. She was my best friend(besides Jason). She practically raised me while I was growing up because I lived with my dad. There wasn't anything I couldn't ask her...crap I remember the time she tried giving me the sex talk... EMBARRASSING! We became even closer the summer I graduated as I was stuck home because of a stupid mistake I made. She would tell me over and over how glad she was I got in trouble because it brought me Jason and back to the gospel. I would stay at her house for hours and hours on end just talking to her and trying to learn things I would need to know to be a good wife and mom! Not to mention the endless questions I had about church subjects and the temple. Grandma Lou was honestly a saint. I've never met such a woman who loves the Savior more. Plus her family meant everything to her. She would do anything for any of her siblings and all of us. She was a compassionate woman who always gave a 100% in everything. In April I got to take her to Lander,Wy so Colton could do some dental work on her. Talk about a long trip. Grandma was so particular about everything! It was hilarious! On our way back home the next day she acted like she was having a stroke or something. I've never drove so fast in my life. I was so scared that she was going to die on me that trip home. I kept asking her if she was doing ok while I drove a hundred miles an hour. She got so sick of me asking she cussed me out. HAHA What a spitfire! She ended up in the hospital for a few days with problems with her lungs. (She's been very sick for a few years now) When we got to take her home that time, Jas and I were helping her in her car and she gave us hugs. Well she kept a firm hold on Jas. She sat and rubbed his back and rubbed his cheek and told him how much she loved him... She loved him more than me I think! He is always rubbing it in how much she would tell him she loved him! When she got bad enough in May that we had to take her back to the hospital, I went and visited her everyday a few times a day. She'd always sit and tell me, "I'm holding on just so I can see your baby!" She'd never let me leave without her rubbing my tummy and she'd tell him how excited she was to be the first to hold him. Little did we know she was very right when she said that she'd be the first to hold him. I guess that is why he hasn't came down to us yet. Heavenly Father knew Grandma would want more than a week with my baby boy. So now I bet she keeps him up there for awhile... Hopefully telling him to be so good for me. :)
I can't believe that she is actually gone. I'm so glad I got to have her in my life. I wish I wouldn't have taken her for granted when I was younger. Or even in High School. You really don't know what you've got til its gone. I'm glad it's not forever though. I'm so thankful that I can go to the temple and sit in the Celestial Room. I can't wait til I make it there again. I know I will be able to feel her so strongly, it makes me cry just thinking about it and how the Lord's plan really works. I can't even begin to imagine living my life any other way now. I love you Grandma, thanks for all you have taught me in my life. I will miss you so very much.

Well Hell... nothing is working. That basically sums things up. We even went for a wheeler ride yesterday hoping that might help... tried some spicy food... bathed in ginger... even tried the love making game:( not as much fun when your prego... gone on long walks... been cleaning...AH! This boy is dang stubborn. Only good news is that Jody can zone me tonight at 4:00 so we'll see if that helps somewhat. Keep your fingers crossed we get lucky!

I went to the doctor yesterday and things are looking up. I'm 37+ weeks and I'm almost dialated to a 2. We're all hoping that this baby comes when Jas gets home this week! Any labor inducing suggestions? Because if he doesn't come I'll be by myself AH! Jas leaves for work again on the 8th and won't be back til the 15th. Dr. Campbell is going to California to meetings on the 10th thru the 14th! REMINDER: I'M DUE THE 15TH! So basically I'm a little scared that I'll be by myself with the on call dr when they are both gone...I've already threatened to kill dr and husband if they don't make it! I'm almost kidding. :)And the week of High School Rodeo State Finals starts the 15th. I haven't missed one of Chelsea's rodeos yet this year and I would really hate to go into labor while she is rodeoing. Pretty sure she'd lose her concentration! haha
Anyhow that the stress in my life for now. I wish I could say things will look up soon but I know better than that. Plus people keep reminding me that it doesn't get any better! Take care!

Well I didn't forget by anymeans (pretty sure I couldn't have, he's been as excited as a 7 yr old. :) Anyway I got him a gun, (good job to me!!) his parents gave him some mulah and a dinner, Brandon and Candi gave him money and the pleasure of their company, Trev and Amy gave him pepsi and his favorite Australian licorice, Dustin and Charli gave him a pair of Carhart coveralls for our little boy lol and he says "How am I supposed to fit in these?" It was really funny. Everybody else has just given him money. So he's been all sad because I won't let him get a Swarovski spotting scope til we have more money and know how long he is going to have a job. I'm being the responsible one here right? I can't always give in especially with a little Jas on the way. I told him to just save all his birthday money and extra cash and change and he'll have it before no time. He still doesn't believe me, but I figured I better put his cute little envelope on here so he knows I'm rootin for him to get one too. FYI Any random donation would make his day. :) HAHAHA

I'm glad I'm not the only one that loves their dog enough to post their birthday! (Thanks Sara) Anyway Dally is one today! I can't believe we've almost had her a year and how big she has gotten. When we first got her and were going to Chelsea's high school rodeos I could shove Dally down my coat to keep her warm and it looked like I had a 3rd boob! Gosh she used to love to cuddle like that. Now she's all into the playin around and eating things she shouldn't! I'm just really glad we got her. She has been the best company when Jason has to leave for work. We really love her. ( Little dog hairs and all.)

So Charli and I decided we were going to paint my dad's room while he is in Vegas the past couple days. It's been alot of work and it's really weird having my dad gone. I have always been the biggest daddy's girl ever... entil Jas came along. I don't know how he did it, but he makes me feel like I could never be loved anymore by anybody. He even fills the gap in my heart when my dad leaves for a few days! HaHa I should probably be gettin over the extreme part of daddy's girl, but I doubt I ever will. There is just somethin between a daddy and his daughter that can't be replaced or even messed around with. Especially us!! Anyway.. I can't wait til we have a little girl one day and I hope she is just as big a daddy's girl as I am. Jas is going to be the greatest dad.. the other night at the movie he got all sad on me(the movie was hillarious so I didn't understand at first, but now I do)He looks over at me and says, "I just want our little boy to be here already." It was so cute it just melted my heart. I can't wait for him to be here either. Anyhow I just wanted to say I'm so thankful for my husband and all he does for me... I'm so blessed to have him for now and all eternity. You just can't beat that!

Kelsea loves to come over and play at our house. Mostly cause I think she has a crush on Jas, but what do ya do? I kinda do too! Anyway funny story about this little stink. Jas was supposed to be watchin her and Alyssa while I was soakin in the tub. I'm pretty sure she was just bored, but she came and knocked on the door telling me to hurry up. I told her I was relaxing (don't think she understands that word). Anyway she did this like three times and finally had enough and just opened the door on me! Ah I was in the buff in the tub! She looked at me and her eyes got big and she left. So Jas told me what she said when I finally got out. She went over to her sister and whispered, "Sissy, I just saw Aunt Kayla's big boobs! They are big like my mommies." Jas heard her and busted a gut and asked her again what she saw. So she told him. Hillarious! If only you coulda seen her face when she said it. Then she was sittin on his lap and asked him if she could see his boobies. He says I don't have boobs Kels. She grabs the front of his shirt and lifts it up, sticks her hand up there where his are and grabs a hold of it. Yes huh uncle Jason, you do too see! HAHAHA how funny. Jas went sleddin the other day and left me home workin cows with my family. The boys he went with didn't take the best of pictures so next time I'm going. FUNNY FUNNY....So for all of you that knew me before we got married and before I got pregnant will so laugh at this. So here we are workin cows the other day (I'm my grandpa's right hand man!) They won't let me do anything really anymore cause they don't want me to get hurt while I'm pregnant so my job is to tally everyone's cows that come up the alley. Well this big ol fat cow of my brothers got stuck in the chute and we couldn't get her up off her belly. We let her sit for awhile thinkin she was outta breath but we were running out of daylight and still had 150 or so cows left to work. Anyway my uncle puts a chain around her neck and hooks it under the truck and gives her a tug out. It worked, but oh my hell I cried like a little girl. I was freakin pathetic. It didn't hurt her or anything, but it just made the tears run outta my eyes like no other. The boys laughed at me. Told me I wasn't tough anymore. lol Anyhow a few of ya will get a kick out of it.

I haven't posted forever so I figured I better some recent stuff on here. Jas made it home for Christmas and we went around and visited family on Christmas Eve. Christmas day was acutally really different for both of us this year, cause we just spent it at our house with no family. That didn't last long. Jas got hungary so we went out to his parents house and ate breakfast and visited. Then we went to my mom's house and played the wii Brayden got. The whole fam played (even mom and Stacy.) We took Brayden to a place in Bennington so he could ride his super sweet snowboard grandpa Greg got him. lol Chels and I rode Jas's pride and joy snowmachine. Pretty sure I dumped it on us once! Whoops! Jas, Brayden and I hit the movie later that night it was Bedtime Story or whatever. Pretty funny. It was a good day til that night when I had to go to the hospital cause I was puking blood. They didn't know what was wrong with me so they watched me for a few hours then sent us home. Everything is just peachy now. We had a little get together at our house for new years and we took off the next day for Josh and Anna's wedding. Basically that's all the fun we've had lately!

Well I still haven't put recent pictures on here yet but I plan on doing it tomorrow. Yahoo me! So I'm a little frustrated tonight. I've really enjoyed the fact that I'm pregnant and that Jas and I are doing things the right way in our lives now. The fact that our child will be born in covenant is so touching to me. Both Jas and I never thought we'd be where we are today so we consider this a huge blessing on our part of changing the way we were living. I guess some people are still having a problem with our changing our lives and doing things different for ourselves. I found out some terrible news tonight about a friend and all I want to do is hold her and comfort her and tell her everything will be ok. The biggest set back of it all is that she won't even talk to me. Not in the slightest. I've tried since August to talk to her and still no reply. We've been friends since we were tiny tiny. I guess the hardest part about growing up is that you grow apart from the people you love and care most about. It kinda feels like everything good in my life has something to drag me down even harder anymore. It's one thing after another lately.

Multiple Sclerosis

My sister Krista went to the doctor on Monday for weird muscle pains that just weren't going away. Well... the diagnosis is Multiple Sclerosis. She is only 27 I think. And has 2 lil girls so it was a pretty hard blow. Even though we don't get along like sisters should, I would never wish this on her. I feel so awful for her and Alyssa and Kelsea (her girls). I guess with all that's going on in my family this is all just a real test of my faith and how willing I am to have a complete and total trust in the Lord and his will for my family.

Well I was looking at a LDS website about motherhood. I have so many unanswered questions about being a mom and what mom's should do. My own mother really wasn't ever around while I was growing up and as I got older our relationship dwindled farther and farther apart. Mostly because I chose to live with my dad when the got divorced. After a recent huge falling out with my mom I'm petrified to have children cause I don't know what mothers do and I'm scared of having a relationship whith my children like I have with my mom. (Don't get me wrong, I love my mom, but I hate some things and desicions she has made with her life that has affected our whole family. And my sanity.) I don't know why this quote touched me the way that it did, but it has given me a hope being a good mom as long as I follow my father in heavens plan for me and I always put Christ first in my family's life. I know it sounds sappy, but I just felt it in my heart that things will be ok for Jason and I's family.
